We are the men of First United Methodist Church of Albany Georgia. We are tired of being still and quiet in church, ready to scream at the top of our lungs. Tired of being soft and gentle, ready to be ruff and rugged. Tired of being clean and smelling good, ready to be covered in dust while following after Jesus just like his disciples.

There was a saying about disciples that followed their Rabbi everywhere they went. “It is good to be covered in the dirt of your Rabbi.” We want to be covered in the dirt of our Rabbi Jesus.

It’s time to be Men again! It’s time to be a little loud, a little rowdy. It’s also time to be the leaders of our families, church and community. God has a specific role for men and it’s time we play our part.

So stop being a girl and waiting for someone to ask you to join us and come be men with us!
